Mr. Goodwin is an experienced attorney. His practice has involved a broad range of transactional and advocacy work aimed at helping individuals, families, and businesses achieve their objectives and safeguard that which matters the most.

Mr. Goodwin's story is as unique as his practice. Before embarking on his legal journey, he spent over a decade rising through the ranks in the fast-paced world of Information Technology. From management roles at medium-sized firms to senior positions at a Fortune 500 brokerage and a flagship state university, his collective work experiences enrich his legal expertise in invaluable ways.

During his time at law school, Mr. Goodwin honed his legal skills by engaging in stretch experiences. He participated in multiple clinics, secured a summer associate role at one of the nation's top law firms, and held a legal research position with a burgeoning cybersecurity start-up that was eventually acquired by IBM. Mr. Goodwin's unique talents earned him several offers from prominent law firms in diverse markets. Embracing his Midwestern roots and drawn by the opportunity to be a part of the revitalization of the city, he intentionally chose to develop his legal career in Cleveland, Ohio.

Mr. Goodwin's legal career includes rich and varied work experiences. Beginning as an associate at a leading Cleveland law firm, he initially focused on commercial agreements and privacy law/cybersecurity matters. His journey then led him to be offered a role as the Director of Legal Business Affairs for a startup. Prior to founding Rhodium Law, he further honed his legal acumen as in-house counsel for a global hospital system.

Amidst the turmoil of the COVID-19 pandemic, Mr. Goodwin's life took a profound turn when his mother was diagnosed with dementia. Faced with this challenge, he stepped up as her full-time caregiver and soon discovered a newfound purpose. Inspired by his personal experiences, he launched his own law practice, Rhodium Law, LLC. This firm not only focuses on estate planning and elder law but also extends its expertise to business and real estate transactions, ensuring comprehensive support for all clients.

Mr. Goodwin’s wealth of personal and professional experiences uniquely equips him to handle the complex issues his clients face. He is not just a lawyer but a trusted adviser and compassionate confidant. His dedication shines through as he assists individuals with estate planning and elder law matters, as well as representing private companies, non-profits, and real estate investors.
